Making use of cutting edge technologies in thermal sensing, HotSpot autonomously locates and returns to the hottest object in a scanned region. It first implements optimized path traversal to efficiently capture infrared images of the scanning bed. Advanced algorithms parse this data to identify the coordinates of emissions above the radiation threshold. Ultimately, onboard software computes a return path to this location and directs the payload to the target.
